Mike Podgorski scattered 5 hits over 6 innings and pitched the WhizKids to an 11-4 victory over DaBums. Anthony Torre ripped a bases loaded triple to open the scoring in an 8-run 1st inning. Eight different WhizKids collected at least 1 hit, and they also played great defense in support of their pitchers. DaBums had 3 of their hits in a 4-run 6th, after threatening to score in the earlier innings. DaBums earned the respect from the WhizKids for always playing the game hard from the 1st out until the last. Next game for the WhizKids is Sunday, Sept. 18, at 3 pm at New Scotland vs. the Veterans
