For those who are unaware of what's going on and for those who are speculating on this bulletin board:



Last Sunday, there was an incident at home plate in the 28 playoff game between the Cubs and Yankees.

The Cubs protested the game stating the umpire wrongly interpreted the 28 division slide rule.

The Cubs followed protocol - submitted a written protest within the allotted time frame and a $25 deposit.

A Protest Committee was formed to address this protest. The members are Bryce Cutler, Jim Konstantakis, and Don Dunham.

They are in the process of interviewing all involved parties and witnesses.

They are expected to make a ruling on the protest today.
