The Giants pounded out 11 hits in the first three innings to take a 10-1 lead and went on to a 10-3 win over the expansion Blue Jays in a 45 Division game Sunday at New Scotland.
Steve Lounello homered off the trash bin in left field for the Giants and Tony Nardacci doubled twice to pace the attack. Paul Scutieri also had two hits for the Giants, now 3-0.
JimK scattered 5 hits in 5 innings to get the win. Mike Kane came on to pitch the final two.
For the Jays, Hunt had two singles to lead the Jays.
Artie G. came on in relief in the third inning and stopped the Giants on 2 hits the rest of the way.
