The Reds moved to 9 - 3 with a 5 inning, 18 -1 win over the Cyclones Sunday afternoon at New Scotland. Offensively, the Reds were led by Ed Class, who added 4 more hits and 3 RBI to raise his average to close to .600 for the season. Dave Schillinger added 3 hits and Handford, Collins and Legge chipped in 2 hits each. On the mound, Joe Burns got the complete game victory, going 5 innings and giving up 1 unearned run, 3 hits and 2BB, while striking out 3, moving his record to a perfect 6-0 and lowering his already sub 2.00 ERA. For the Cyclones offensively, Gleason,Bintz and Reuter chipped in a single each. Next up for the Reds is a showdown with the league leading Golden Marlins on Sunday at 2:30 at New Scotland. Should be a good one.
