After a too-long hiatus, the 35+ division All-Star Game is back this year.

Your managers voted and we have the following scenario:

Saturday August 13th
New Scotland Town Park
3:00 p.m. Home Run Derby (open to any CDMSBL player, regardless of age)
4:00 All-Star game

Each 35+ division manager will name two all-stars from their team. In addition, they will send me names and stats for others they feel are deserving. I will use those nominations to determine who fills out the rosters.

I will work the grill and have coolers full of ice and beverages. If we can get two volunteer umpires, that will keep costs down. I've heard that Steve Lounello may donate (sell to division?) an All-Star MVP bat.

It will be a good time, and a great way to unwind after a long season - and get ready for the playoffs (starting 8/20).
