This was one of the best games in the 55 division that I have seen this season.The Nolan Propane Cardinals inched out the Silver Marlins by only one run.Both teams should be commended for their excellent playing last night.
The Marlins took the early lead in the first inning scoring 3 runs. The Cards answered back with two runs in the bottom of the first.Excellent pitching by the Cardinal's ace, Jim LaTorre shut down the Marlins from the second inning. The Card's scored one run in the second and the final run sixth .The final score was Nolan Propane Cardinals 4 and the Silver Marlins 3. Game two tonight 5:45pm at New Scotland.
