Just kidding, this is not Jim but his wife Sue. I wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation for everyone who is involved in CDMSBL, and for everyone who expressed their thoughts on Jim through the bulletin board and at his viewing. You guys and baseball were such a big part of his life. He would come home from a game, strut in like a peacock and says "Yup... I still got it". Baseball made him feel alive, and the friendships were so important to him. And yes... he was a very funny guy. He made me laugh on a daily basis. He will be missed by all.
Thanks again for your support, and keep playing the game... you guys look great. I'll be contact with somone to come and pick up all the equipment that is in the garage, the basement and the attic. I'll keep the bats and balls that are in the house.
PS. Anyone want a great deal on a 1988 Mercedes? Just make me an offer... it's got to go..
Sue , I see Jim's sense of humor either rubbed off on you or he got it from you. thanks for that cosmic message, I could hear him saying it ! and hey we all hope its true. first big laugh and smile in days.
The equipment you mentioned, whatever your kids don't want we can pick up and either use or donate to the High school. we'll be in touch.
