NJ White Sox 4 -- Albany Braves 3

Tough road to 0-3.
This is probably the eventual champ. What a game the entire Braves team played!!! Let's start with TJ Scorsone. He held this team (that averaged 14 runs in their first 3 games) to just 2 runs through 8 innings. Great job!!
Part of his success was in getting the Sox to hit the ball on the ground to Randy Craft, Ralph Caputo, or Jon Martin. These guys made every single play and some were spectacular!!! In the bottom of the eighth, the Sox pushed accross 2 runs to lead 4-2. In the ninth, the Martin boys led of with consecutive singles to get the rally going. The rally died with one run in and the tying run on third as Skip Treece made solid contact on a high fast ball, only to have it end up in the right fielders glove. This NJ team came to every game with twenty or so All-stars from two leagues in NJ that came together to win it all. I think they just might be that team.
The ultimate compliment was paid to the Braves in the handshakes after the game as the NJ guys just couldn't believe that we were now 0-3. This team didn't play like any 0-3 team that they had ever played before.
