On a beautiful day for baseball the Yankees were fortunate enough to play two. In the first game we played the shaskys. The game went 8 innings with the final being 6 - 2. Scott Ross was the player of the game going all 8 innings giving up just 4 hits and striking out 3. Hats off to Jim Tesoriero from the shasky for a great pitching performance. Caruso was 3 - 4 with a double and Dunham was 2 - 3. In the second game we took on the cyclones. The final was 12 - 8. Kalinski pitched 5 innings only giving up 2 earned runs. After a error by the Yankees 2nd baseman Caruso opened up the flood gates and the cyclones took a lead the Yankees fought back to win it in the 7th. Kalinski was 4 - 4 with a double and triple. Izdebski(Izzy) was 4 - 4. Haff and Caruso had 2 hits apiece. The Yankees even up there record to 2 and 2.
