Eligible players are either members of the Baseball League (BL) or individuals invited by members of the BL. CDMSBL does not sanction this event. It is an invitational tourney only, not open to the public. Each tournament player will have to designate a 28+ BL team to represent for any additional payouts. Any players in the 38+ and 48+ Divisions will still have to designate a 28+ Division team to play for.

Buy-In is $75.00. Buy-ins are paid by cash or money order by March 16th via mail. Please send money orders to: Joe Fitzgerald

To pay in person, Ed Class will be at the Black Bear Inn, Watervliet on March 23 from 6-8pm. Direction to the Black Bear from Latham Circle – Route 2 towards Watervliet, which turns into 19th St. The Black Bear Inn, is on the right-hand side of 19th Street. Please call either Joe Fitzgerald (518) 378-2933 or Ed Class (518) 423-0870 to reserve a spot.

Payouts: Payouts will be based on at least 60 players, and are as follows:

1st place $1000.00
2nd place $500.00
3rd place $400.00
4th place $300.00
5th place $200.00
6th place $100.00
7th place $100.00
8th place $100.00
9th place $100.00
10th place $100.00

An additional payout of $300.00 will be rewarded to the team represented by the 1st place winner. This is why it will be imperative that every player designates a team he/she is playing for.

The remaining money: will cover poker chips, cards, and the cost of having the room, and whatever food we can get in the budget. THERE WILL BE A CASH BAR, I know many of you were questioning that.

Seating will be determined as players reserve their places in the tournament.


Directions to Christy's: Thruway to exit 25. West on I-890 to exit 5 (Broadway) Make a left onto Broadway (at the light at the end of the exit ramp). Stay on Broadway for approx. 1/2 mile and make a right onto Lower Broadway. Lower Broadway is the street at the base of Broadway Hill. Christy's is the last building on the right. The parking lot is on the side and behind the building. Mapquest also has good directions if you need visuals.
