Angels got thumped by the Damn Yankees (and I do mean damn) tonight 13-4. The Angels had their gloves on the wrong hand tonight. The Yankees are a super bunch of guys, and it was fun to be on the field again. Hi light of my evening was talking with Tom Bradley. We have a lot to be thankful for gentleman.
The Mane man has assembled a team of great guys, who also happen to be really good baseball players. It was a blast to see Mash on the mound and TJ at short after taking some time off, and seeing Jim Wing behind the plate after the surgeries he has been through is an inspiration. Like Tommy said, we are blessed to still be able to suit up and occasionally enjoy the sound and feel of a wood bat connecting to a baseball.
Manes, for sure talking to Tom Bradley was the highlight of my day as well. Such a fine man who stays as positive as anyone can given his plight. I'm thankful and proud to know him.
