Damn Yankees defeated the Twins 7-0 at A Diamond Tuesday evening. No Yankee runs were earned as the Twins committed 4 very untimely errors. It was 1-0 after 3 and 3-0 after 5 but the Yankees tacked on 3 more in the 6th and 1 in the 7th. The Yankees had 8 hits . Weber was masterful on the mound for the Yankees allowing just 1 hit, 2 walks, and struck out 4. Jeff Whitehead pitched all 7 for the Twins giving up 8 hits, 7 runs, 0 earned runs, walking none and striking out 5. Marshall and Van Gelder each had 2 hits for the Yankees. Joe Parker had the lone hit for the Twins.
