Great memories Pete.

When working at the Times Union, A's manager, Keith Lieppman was so much fun to cover. A great guy, he used to let me throw BP to the guys before the games. He's now, and has been for many years now, the Director of Player Development for the A's. The stairs leading up to the press box brought back a lot of great memories. I still have a letter Keith sent me after I sent him the baseball cards of all the players he managed in Albany. We tried to hook up in Arizona, but the timing wasn't right. He lives about two hours north of Phoenix. Funny, because Keith majored in journalism in college.

Thnx again for posting this, Pete.

Merry Christmas.
