Chris Massaroni went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI to lead the WhizKids over the defending 3 year champion Golden Marlins. Darrell Duncan pitched 5 innings giving up 1 earned run and striking out 4 Marlins. Jim Ansel pitched 3 innings of 1-hit ball while striking out 3 WhizKids. Joe --- had a double and scored twice for the Marlins, who had the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the 7th before the WhizKids finally closed the door.
Nice ball game , the Whiz kids look good. They have a formidable ptching staff, with Darrel, and Dennis, and a good hitting team. I love playing you guys, you play the game right, a class act one and all.
