The 55 Angels and Twins squared off on B Diamond last night. Angels struck first in the top of the 2nd with Scarsone driving home Jon Martin for the first run of the game. The Twins came back in the bottom of the second scoring three runs on four walks a hit batter and just one single. Twins added three more in the bottom of the third on two hits, a sac fly, a walk and an error increasing their lead to 6-1. The Angels kept the game close scoring two runs in the fourth to close the gap at 6 to 3 where it remained until the bottom of the sixth when the Twins scored four runs on six hits to put the game away. Final score Twins win 10 to 3. Wayne Nicholsen picked up a complete game victory surrendering nine hits while issuing no walks. John Reel and John Martin lead the way for the Angels with two hits each and each had a double. The Angels can hit. Reel has been swinging a hot bat lately. Top hitters for the Twins were Jeff Whitehead, Rick Saidenberg, and Wayne Nicholson each with two hits. Twins had a total of 10 hits.
