Consecutive singles by Paul Graziano and Bob Bolt led to a 2 RBI triple by Jeff Friedman. Friedman scored on a sack fly. The Whiz scored 2 more in the 3rd, Mike Kane and Graziano reached base, Bolt hit a single to collect 2 RBI. The Whiz scored 4 more in the top of the 5th on 4 base hits. The Twins scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th. The leadoff batter reached on an error, a single by John Reel, a sac bunt by Don Wixon that turned into an error led to 2 runs scored by the Twins.
