Sorry to hear about your Mom, Jimmy.
She lived a very long life and did a great job as a Mom, you are evidence of that.
She is in a far better place now.
Godspeed to your Mom.
Prayers and condolences for you and your family.

Jim - I just read your mother's obituary. I'm sorry for you and your family for her passing.

At the same time, I was struck by what a remarkable and uncommon woman your mother was! How fortunate you and your family
were to have her.

It's clear from the obituary that she lifted herself up, working initially at a dry cleaning job, then going to school, getting better job, as
a secretary in the New York State Chancellor of Education's office, and, doubtless through that, she helped extend her care for her family,
including her two husbands, who predeceased her, and her two sons. The obituary says her energy was virtually boundless and
she showed that by gardening, throwing "legendary" house parties for family and friends, and, partly thanks to her deep pride in her Greek
heritage, donating countless hours as a volunteer at her church, St. Sophias Greek Orthodox Church in Albany. I loved the line that says
she was "riding Sea-Doos at age 80 and cutting her grass on the riding mower till age 90." Good for her. Good for you all.

I don't doubt that your mother's care and energy is still with you and your family, Jim. It's a great, good fortune.

-Mike
