The Humminbirds and the Orioles played to a 4-4 tie last night in a game stopped by darkness after 6 innings.
The Humminbirds scored four times in the fourth inning to take a 4-0 lead. Earl Mitchell held the Orioles to just three hits through 5 but the Orioles capitalized on an error, two walks and three hits in the bottom of the sixth to tie the score at 4. The Orioles had the bases loaded with one out but could not push across the winning run against reliever John Latorre.
Proneski had three hits, McGinnis and Josefski had two each for the Humminbirds.
Doug Reisinger had a double, single and 2 rbi to lead the Orioles.
