62 Yankees vs Peppers at A-Diamond. Last night 7/24

It was warm and muggy last night at the A-Diamond, and no rain. As a rule, I don't write recaps, but some people have asked about the game results. It was a good game to watch and be a part of. The undefeated 11-0 Yankees had Pete Geannelis on the hill and the Peppers had Dave Plew. Both guys went the full 7 innings, and in my eyes, they were both on their game. I don't have any stats, but the final score was, believe it or not 3-2 Yankees. We all shook hands at the end of the game and parted ways as friends. I thank God we are all still able to play this game and enjoy it. If someone would like to add highlights, please feel free. Thanks for the fun time last night.

3-2 Yanks, eh? Sounds like a very good game.

And nice wrap-up, Harold. Sometimes all readers need is a good adjective, a few names, and a tight score. You got that here.

Anything missing? Yes. I'd guess both teams, and all the readers in over-62 land, were surprised, but pleased, for what the score suggests.

And that is? No team is an automatic easy mark in division, anyone can win.

And your ending is a solid hit: "Thank God we're still able to play this game and enjoy it."
