Sadly Butch passed recently. His obit is in the times union. Butch managed the Stillwater Tigers in the 30+ after managing many of those players as kids in youth and high school ball . It was a great team and the players responded to his guidance and won a couple championships. The obit mentions one such feat accomplished at Doubleday field in Cooperstown. They were a close-knit bunch and I'm sure are grieving as is the Stillwater community today. CDMSBL was honored to have you in our ranks Mr. Lilac . God bless.
