Many of you may have seen the news last weekend of a major building fire in Albany. That was my building.
The building adjacent to the one that was destroyed is one of the building where my record storage company operates. There are areas in this building that suffered smoke and water damage as a result of the fire. I have an urgent need to separate wet records from dry records and to generally clean up the space. This project will last until mid-June.
I will take whatever help I can get. If you can work part-time or full-time hours through mid-June or weekends or a day here and there, anything would help. This labor is covered by my insurance and I am able to pay $18.00/hour.
As a bonus, if you do help and I am catching against your team in the 55s or 62s, I will tell you every pitch that is coming! IF I am pitching, you won't need to know.
All kidding aside, I am in a very difficult situation. I would appreciate any help that is available. Thank you.

I want to say a big thank you to Lex and his 55 Yankees crew for their help today. Lex, his son, Seth, his future son-in-law, Jake, Joe Careccia, Pat Alston and Bob Altobelli moved over 800 cartons, disassembled some racking and brought me 24 man-hours closer to completing my task. I know Lex pretty well from baseball. I play on the Dodgers with Pat and in Florida with Joe. I know Bob well enough to say hello when he steps up to the plate and "good game" after his team beats mine. I have never met Seth or Jake. To have all six of those guys give up their Sunday afternoon and show up and help brings me much needed moral support. My appreciation runs deep.
