In a make up game on Sunday the Yankees 47+ team had there hitting shoes on and played solid defense. The Yankees scored 8 runs in the first inning that provided a nice cushion as the Bum's pitcher settled down and the Bums scored a few runs to get within 7 runs. The Yankees scored in the third and then had a 6 run inning in the sixth to Ice the game. The Bums didn't give up and aside from the score showed they are an improved team from last year.

Mike Eflite had 3 hits for the Yanks and several others had 2 hits apiece. Art Gianakos, Wane Newcomb, Ralph Caputo and Dave Booker combined to hold off the Bums.

Nick Kennelis of the Bums hit a 2 run homer off Wayne Newcomb for the second time they have faced each other. Nick asked Wayne " Whose your Daddy"?
