Guided by Wayne Nicholsons five hit complete game pitching performance, the 55 Twins defeated the very formidable Yankees last night at A diamond 10-5. Both teams were a little sloppy in the field which led to more runs being scored than would have happened on a perfect defensive evening. The Yankees got five singles from five different players. For the Twins, Ricky Saidenberg 4-4, Mike Arbour 3-3, and Jeff Cohen 2-3, which included a double. JEFF WHITEHEAD and Rodney Smith contributed doubles at crucial moments.
