The Orioles scored 7 times in the bottom of the first and reeled off their seventh straight win Friday night at New Scotland Town Park.
Bob Bolt tossed five innings allowing three runs on five hits while striking out 4 to post the win. Bolt also contributed two hits as did Joe Careccia who knocked in a pair. Mark Lennox had three rbi for the 7-1-1 O's.
Treece and Nadeau had a pair of hits each for the 4-3 Marlins. Jim Latorre came on in relief in the first inning and tossed 5.2 innings allowing 5 runs on 7 hits, walking two and striking out 4.
