i got a phone call from the head of maintenance at cba about an hour ago. he told me that a parent had found empty beer cans in one of the dugouts at cba and in the parking lot. the parent took his complaint to the principal.
no one is accusing us, but remember this: CBA HAS A NO ALCOHOL POLICY on its grounds. tailgating in the parking lot is fine - as long as we drink soda, juice, ice tea, lemonade and no booze and as long as we pick up after ourselves.
so if you're scheduled to play at cba and you have beer in your cooler - take it out and leave it at home. one parent spotting one guy drinking beer in the lot is enough to cost us the field.
Beer? In the dugout? Mike, we play there tonight and rest assured that if I find any beer in the dugout I will dutifully take care of it myself! In fact I may even get there early in case there is any remaining beer to be found.
