Well the mighty have fallen! In spite the fact that the Yankees only fielded 8 players the Dodger's bats were as hot as the weather and pounded Artie Gianakos throughout. They hit em hard and of course where they ain't. Both teams kept coming back from deficits and unfortunate it took a bad call by the ump at home plate to end the marathon. I think he was as hot and tired as the rest of us. Tough way to lose a game. But all the credit to the Dodgers and Ed Rodgers who has taken over the club and has them believing in themselves. I don't have stats on the Dodgers but for the Yankees Wayne Newcomb had 4 hits and some of them in big situations as well as 3 stolen bases. I think he's still running!!! Mike Eflite had 2 clutch 2 out hits which tied the game or put us ahead. Dave Booker has two long triples to drive in 5 runs and Dave Latina had 2 hits as well. Tough loss but we'll rebound.
