I do not have my book, so I don't have any stats, Tunder defeated the Vets 5-3 (I think) Anyway, they won. However, the point of this posting is the fact that a good game was played by two teams that have a high regard for each other, WITHOUT ANY UMPS. I'm not sure what happened, but aparently yhis happened before in another league. Why should this happen? It's common knowledge that all is not happy within the league officials. However, that should not spill onto the individual teams. Whatever conflicts there are might be put aside for the sake of playing baseball. High school is a long time behind us. Bob Loungberry (Thunder's mgr.) and myself, believe that since our teams handled the umpiring, then our teams should be paid for it. After all, if there was a forfiet that was our fault, we would be accessed the $125 forfiet fee. We believe we should split that fee for our teams. We certainly could use the money to purchase extra equip. or even a party or two.
I'm not going to ramble on with this, I think you got my point. VERY DISSAPOINTING!!!!!!!!
