38+ - A's 7 - Giants 6

I hope that score is right - I don't have my scorebook in front of me. I won't be able to give any stats.

It was a tough game going back and forth with neither team letting the other get more than a two run lead.

Nice plays, a few broken bats (two of my own - one shattered into about 5 million pieces) and clutch hitting by both teams.

The A's were able to "pull up their socks" and keep the Giants from pulling this one out. A two-out, bases loaded running catch by George Schillinger in the bottom of the final inning preserved the win.

I wish I could acknowledge all the key players and plays, but without my book it is all a blur. Sort of the way I play, anyway.

No sisters were at this game - thank God. My sisters had not had their upper lips waxed lately.

I don't recall him pulling up his socks. I remember him pulling down his pants, though.

Word to the wise - beware the left field sniper.

Now, Kegger....

This is a family oriented sight. What would look like if I had said we had "pulled our pants down and beat them with our bats"? Especially after I had broken mine!?!?
