Well it was wet, wild, wierd and wonderful. My hat is off to all who participated in this year's Tourney. The weather conspired to flood out the whole thing. The weather men need to be shot or at least muzzled and we need to give some props to John Reel, Kevin Jackson and Jeal Sutherland at Rogowicz Field for their efforts to see this to its completion. The question needs to be asked however, why with 12 CDMSBL Teams and another 10 Hobbs teams close by can we not put together a team of allstars to keep the trophy here in Albany? Maybe we could add this to the list of questions for next year? I know that some (okay most) people use this as their last getaway weekend of the summer but can't we really put some thought into this. A 25 man roster with at least 10 pitchers is what it is going to take.
