Cubs Tigers Result?

Anyone awake yet from that game, can let us know who won?

Tigers won 7-4 and move on to the finals. Curtis Nobles pitched a solid game for the Tigers and fought off a late comeback by the Cubs. Despite playing night games for the first time this year, I thought it was a well played series by both teams. The Cubs are a fun team to be matched up against and it was an enjoyable couple of nights out at A-Diamond. It was nice to rebound from the 3 games to 0 beating that we took during the regular season against them.

Congratulations to the Tigers!!!
It is never fun to end your season on a loss, but if you have to do it, losing to a classy bunch like the Tigers hurts a lot less. They got great pitching from Curtis Nobles and Joe Rispole and Mr. Maycheck was absolutely ridiculous with the bat in his hands. This team is going to pose a big threat to either the Yankees or Orioles in the finals. Good luck Tigers!

PS. One question: How did you guys ever lose so many games in the regular season?!

Congrats Tigers!
You guys are on a role, I think thats 5 play-off games in a row!
You have a nice team with momentum going into the finals.
Despite the sting of defeat, I really enjoyed playing you guys.
Things were looking good for us in game one untill Joe Demarco
got off a plane and showed up in the 5th inning. He and Dan Maycheck crushed line drives
at bat after at bat. It was an impressive offensive performance.
Good luck this weekend.
