I was to understand that if the Tigers/Cubs game was not necessary then the O's/Yanks game was to be moved to 6:00 p.m. Joe Fitz wrote it down specifically in his thread regarding the updated 28+ playoff schedule a few threads down.
Yes, that was the original plan... I am not sure of the reason it may have changed, but as I understand it the game tonight is at 8. Which is fine as long as the teams umpires and weather cooperate.
Mario sent the Orioles an e-mail that our game is at 8 pm. The Home team got the chance to pick their time. Yankees choose 8 pm, so it gives both teams ample time to get ready for game.
