The 45 wood team is in the playoffs. Yesterday, (Friday) we won our first game against the Detriot Diamondbacks 19-8. We lost the second game to the Triad 9 (South Carlonia/Georgia combined team). The game was tied 4-4 going into the 8th inning. Triad broke the game open with 6 runs in the top of the 8th inning and eventually won the game 11-6.
Saturday morning we had to win to get into the playoffs. We won a nail biter 6-5 at Jack Russell Stadium. Tj Scorsone started the ninth with a quick out. The next guy up hit a double down the left field line. TJ walked the next batter and Randy Craft relieved TJ. Randy threw one pitch and induced a perfect 6-4-3 double play to save the game for TJ.
We play a team from Atlanta at 4:30pm and if we win, we play the #1 seed at 8:00pm.
