Standings need correction
(Preview)
I've been waiting patiently for the standings to reflect the Shaskys win over the Braves on May 22nd at Knick Park. I don't know who posts the scores and updates the standings on the website, but I would like to know so that I can make an additional report after every game to that person. This way I'd be doi...

6/1 WhizKids 17, Veterans 8

When I drew the short straw to be the starting pitcher, I told the WhizKids to give me a lot of runs. After I left with a 10-4 lead, Jesse Braverman pitched the next 3...

A beautiful night for baseball last night in Burnt Hills, as the Mets beat the Shaskys by the score of 7-3. They have definitely improved and fought hard to the end. Dan Maynard ran his record to 3-0 for the season and Lex Herrlett closed out the last 2 innings. Good luck the rest of the way.

Reds 9, Giants 7
(Preview)
Both teams played solid defense till the 4th inning, then both teams played a little sloppy, and in the end, it was the Giants who made fewer plays defensivley, including two key errors by me - one at 2B and one while pitching.
The Reds 2-4 hitters smacked the ball all day.
I hope the Reds can offer more...

When these teams get together they play a good brand of baseball, the type of game you are pleased to play in. New Player

My name is Chris, I am 28 and I am looking to get back into baseball. Someone suggested I try here. In the past I have always been an infielder but I would be willing to learn the outfield. I still have decent speed and I can get the bat on the ball, I just haven't seen live pitching in a while. I would be willing...
