Many Hits In 55 Twins-Whiz Game
(Preview)
18 hits were recorded in the Twins verses Whiz game last night on a hot and dusty B Diamond. Unfortunately for the Twins, the Whiz had 16 of those hits. No way to sugarcoat it. It was a tough one for the Twins as the Whiz were in the drivers seat pretty much throughout. Charlie Freer led off the game for the Tw...

Thanks for the tales!
(Preview)
Wrote my last note on the fly and I left out some names worth mentioning. My message was a reply to Don Ball's entertaining tale of his Dodgers v. the Damn Yankees game, where Don neatly included material from all over the diamond to the parking lot, inserting three musical references, to make his story...

Dodgers Rally Past the Damn Yankees
(Preview)
The Dodgers got our first taste of the A Diamond on Wednesday against the top-tier Damn Yankees. The weather was perfect for baseball and Central Park was filled with the sound of Polka music and the fragrance of a vegetarian BBQ. The Dodgers scored one in the top of the 1st on a single and stolen base by M...

Here are the results of the 55 Twins-Pirates contest played on the improved B Diamond, although, watch out for that nasty dip in left field. Massaroni saves the Cubs!
(Preview)
It was a cool and breezy night at the A-diamond last night. The Cubs were taking on the always tough Twins, and the game was very much a pitcher's duel. Both pitchers gave up just 7 hits and were in control the entire night. The Twins got an unearned run, in the top of the first. With one out, Jeff Whitehead h...
