They are cramming the entire babe ruth schedule into the small timeframe they have for Harris field. Therefore, we will not be using Harr...

Finally, the first game of the season! In a very close game, the A's defeated the Blue Jays 3-1 at Bethlehem. The game was marked by some very spectacular plays and tense moments. Both pitchers, Gianakos for the A's and Coffredo for the Blue Jays, went about their tasks very well. The A's score...

I am in the process of trying to secure a contact for the 28+ Cardinals in order to maintain the 28+ league statistics. I have an Excel spreadsheet created for the Cards and I need someone to send it to. I would also like it if that person can be my contact for securing the stats for each game. Could you p...

I just wanted to take a second and wish everyone in the CDMSBL age divisions and great upcoming season. Sometimes we take this game for granted and that's a sin. I don't know about the rest of you, but I still get the "butterflies" the night before Opening Day, not to mention, not a lot of sleep. Hope a...

For many of you who know Dave Booker you may want to give your condolenses for the loss of his father this past week. Dave has left for California to attend the funeral services and he will be back this weekend. A nicer guy than Dave I have yet to meet. My sympathies to him and his family. Artie G.

I think it's official now. I'm no longer a Marlin-Silver or Gold for that matter. Since I was never Gold, it won't feel so bad beating the Gold Marlins with our talented over 48 Yankee team. On the other hand- Since I've been Silver since the beggining, it IS gonna feel bad beating you guys with our-o...

This message is particularly for Mike LaCouture. When it comes to wooden bats, you need to know that they are heavier than aluminum. You said you swung a minus 3 in aluminum; many wooden bats are made with the minus 3 increment in place. They are made that way so they don't easily break. You can get minus 2...

We have arranged for a single-man crew to work the scrimmage scheduled for Sunday 4/23, at 10am at Bethlehem Town Park. In the event of a rainout, I need a point of contact so I may cancel the umpire in advance. Thanks. Jim Dalton h 434-2457, c- 331-3449 or e-mail deadeye626@aol.com
