I know of two instances in the past two years where the hidden ball trick has caught a runner wandering off a base. In both instances, the "caught" team argued it should be a balk because the pitcher was within the dirt area on the pitcher's mound. CDMSBL uses MLB rules. MLB Rule 8.05(i) states: ...

Hats off to the Tigers on a very hard fought series with the Cubs. You guys showed alot of class - battling down to the last out - not complaining about playing four games over the weekend - You young bucks will be back - I think most of us 40 something Cubbies are heading to the 38"s
